Who administers the ABPI Code of Practice?
The Prescription Medicines Code of Practice Authority (PMCPA) administers the ABPI Code independently of the ABPI.
When did the 2024 ABPI Code take effect?
It took effect on 1 October 2024, with a transition period to 31 December 2024. The PMCPA began operating under its new constitution and procedure, including an abridged complaints procedure, from 1 October 2024.
